Interesting factoid for the day:

The Oregon Trail passed right through La Grande, Oregon. It is now called B Avenue.

For some reason, I find it very cool that I will be living in an Oregon Trail town. Pioneers and "west" and all that.

    Those alpaca batts look so luxurious. I've never spun alpaca - but I think there are a couple of farms around here. I'll have to put that on my summer list :-)

    I used to live in Pendleton--the trail ran through there too. I always loved that. I think I was a pioneer in another life!
