Nothing much new. I dyed a pretty skein of yarn yesterday, to see if it would cheer me up.



It didn't. Being laid off still sucks. Today was my last day.

    Sue, Is it possible you worked long enough to qualify for some Unemployment Compensation? Years ago I was let go during a recession and Unemployment comp sure helped. Kate/Massachusetts

    Good thought, Kate, but no deal. I checked, and I don't have enough hours worked or dollars per annual quarter to qualify in Oregon. Bummer. Bummer all around.

    If you have the resources to get started I think you could get quite a business going on etsy with your hand dyed. You do great work.

    Lovely handdyed - perfect spring colors.

    Getting laid off is not good. It's good, however, that when things improve you'll be re-hired.
