Finished hardanger

Ta Da!  Here's the completed hardanger piece! I'm quite pleased with how this came out, especially considering I was making it up as I went along.



Lots of picots and dove's eyes...it's always good to practice picots.  They're tricky for me because I always want to pull them too tight. Looser tension for nice open loops!

I also added a couple lines of cable stitch, around the outer and inner squares.  Such a fun and easy stitch, and it adds a lot of detail to the design.



So I think I'm done with practice pieces now.  On to the curtains!
