Up today is Mammillaria bocasana roseiflora, a selected form of a species native to northern central Mexico. It looks soft and cuddly, but watch
out! In among those soft and silky hairlike spines are a few that are hooked,
just waiting for an unsuspecting hand to brush by.
This is a pretty cactus with long-petaled pink flowers. I like it.
