Clashing but beautiful
Today's cactus is Mammillaria spinosissima, native to the mountains of central Mexico. This is a nice little cactus, with pretty rusty red spines.
The vibrant purple-pink flowers would clash terribly if it weren't for the fact that natural colors rarely clash. I think this is a beautiful juxtaposition of texture and line and color.
