This is why I haven't posted much recently:



The most recent batch of snowflakes... still have many to do.

I miss spinning. I miss knitting. I miss doing anything other than snowflakes. So far I have used up three spools of #30 crochet cotton on snowflakes. At 500 yards per spool, that's 1500 yards. Nearly a mile of thread turned into snowflakes.

I'm so sorry I'm chuckling a wee bit... this is *exactly* why I don't want to get into business making a specific product.

A MILE of crochet thread...whew!

ahh, the joy's of production...still, they are beautiful snowflakes...your fingers must be flying!

It's ALMOST Christmas Sue - you can make it! That's the blessing/curse of doing something seasonal, I guess....

I can't believe how much thread you've been through. I, personally will be happy with getting a few pairs of warm socks done over the Christmas holidays - the weather here in Halifax is cold enough now to be extremely motivating in a way that the tropical weather of Colombia never was last year....

let it snow! such beautiful snowfakes. i crocheted a bunch one year, and have yet to block/stiffen them .... what do you use for that? i also love that handpainted roving ....
